I also agree with you, Karen, yet both look so similar, I suggest submitting to BAMONA to see what they think. It is always nice to get an expert's opinion on the tough ones; i.e. Datana, Zale, Manduca (Caterpillar form).

Thanks Jacob! I was torn between the Lunate & the Colorful but having checked out a few I think this is Z. minerea. There is such a huge variation in color & pattern in the zales though so I'm not 100%.

Beautiful! Please confirm the ID, though, as species of Zale are very similar.
