cliens is reported in Israel, Jordan and Southern Iran. No reference from India as bayucca already quoted. Does not really match Himalayan region.

You are right bayucca. I have found no reference of this moth as found in India. But the suggestion looked exactly the same.

I would agree with Polytela sp., but I am not sure and have some doubts if you would find Cliens in the Indian Himalaya. It is a typical subsaharian species with some reports on the Canary Islands. Other sources report it from Israel, Jordan and Southern Iran. From the climate aera it does not really match your mountainous region.

This moth was spotted in India. Your mission accepts spottings only from Americas. No?

Sorry for the suggestion...did not see your confirmation. This must be a very pink variation! Most of the ones I saw were very white!
