Golden Whistler (Female)

Pachycephala pectoralis

Description:

females are overall dull brownish-grey, though some have yellowish undertail coverts. Both sexes have a black bill, dark legs and red-brown eyes.

Habitat:

I was fortunate to get this picture of a female Golden Whistler in my back yard. It was quite low to the ground which is unusual as when ever I've seen either the males or females they tend to be higher up in the trees in my yard.
