I think this is either Nematocampa resistaria or Nematocampa brehmeata. Unfortunately, the two species can only be told apart by genitalia examination. However, given your location, Nematocampa resistaria is more likely.

I see these every year, and always with the border. They are quite small.... I suspect smaller than Lambdina
