Description:

Gossypium hirsutum, also known as upland cotton , is the most widely planted species of cotton and about 90% of all cotton production is of cultivars derived from this species. This is the only cotton species wich is cultivated in Greece. Spotted near Rizomylos city, Thessaly region, Greece.
