Ring-billed Gull

Larus delawarensis

Description:

Not a shy gull, as this was in Cleveland. I was able to approach fairly close without scaring it off. It stepped around in the pond before finding a fish and picking it up. The gull dropped the fish in the pond once before picking it out again and leaving with it.

Habitat:

Found in a large park in downtown Cleveland.

Hi Fiona. Good photo and spotting. Nice to see a gull eating something other than processed food. Welcome to Project Noah as well :-)
