Description:

Medium sized moth with interestingly shaped "hump". Brown, gray and black in color. Brassy, metallic markings on wings (see first two pictures especially). Lands upside-down on foliage to blend in with the dead leaves. Underwings light brown.

Habitat:

Suburban backyard garden.

Notes:

This moth was observed feeding at the flowers during the day.
