Haploa sp.

Description:

Black and white moth with a yellow-orange head and "neck". One of the Haploa tiger moths. Many of them have similar markings and I am not comfortable with identifying this down to a species.

Habitat:

Temperate forest undergrowth. Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.
