Arundinicola leucocephala
Sitting on a grass stalk on a floating island along the river in the full mid-day HOT sunshine. He sat there like royalty while we floated by on a boat and let us take tons of pictures. ADORABLE! The grasses were referred to as sugar cane. The stalks grew many feet tall and were common on many of the floating islands.
