Thanks Naturally.Integrated and bayucca, at this moment I will add the genus as I am not sure if we have that particular ssp in Costa Rica.

Arctiidae, Arctiinae, Hypercompe sp. Hypercompe scribonia is not found in Costa Rica, only in US and rare sightings in Northern Mexico. One would need a full body shot to get closer, since most of the Hypercompe sp. are looking very similar. You have to look at each spot and it's size and location on the wings.
