Calocera sp.
Small 10 mm high yellow jelly fungi with cylindrical or flat stalks and tapering tips. Some had flat undulating indented margins.
Spotted on a rotting eucalyptus log in a damp area of a reserve.
The species could be C.guepiniodes but needs confirmation.

So, it seems like the odds of this being Calocera are high. Good luck getting the ID, Leuba! :)
Mauna, I've had a quick check on ALA ( Atlas of Living Australia). Although Calocera and Dacryopinax are from the same family (Dacrymycetaceae) the former has at least 8 recorded species occurring here whereas I can only find one of the the latter- D.spathularia

This species appears to have spathe-like margins, smoother and less undulating than the ones in my spotting. So, I'll stay with Calocera for now and check with members of another group that have expert knowledge on these. Thanks again for your suggestion - you might be right after all.
You might be right Mauna. It does look like Dacryopinax species. I'll have a further check and then amend the ID. Calocera range from yellow, orange to buff colour-wise and I have seen photos that have some resemblance to mine but your suggestion looks good. Thanks again.
What about Dacryopinax sp.? It also occurs in Australia. http://naturemapr.org/Community/SpeciesD...
Dacryopinax species look similar to the ones you're suspecting, except that Calocera species are paler in color (https://books.google.com/books?id=4MreBQ...).
