Approximately 2cm long mostly black with a black and cream banded abdomen.

Habitat:

Rainforest.

There are several spider which mimic ants, but I am not sure if this common name is reserved for a special family. I am not very familiar with spiders, but there are some jumping spiders, Salticidae, which aremimicking spiders and I know the Corinnidae from the Americas.

From the shape of yours I would at first sight think that it is not a Salticidae, but I might be wrong. Just a few hints...
