Dismorphia theucharila fortunata
Came into my house to visit and stayed at the door screen for a while. : )
Once you will find your butterfly, I will tell you when ... ;-)
All butterflies have 6 legs, but in most of the Nymphalidae have only 4 visible and normal legs, the most anterior ones are reduced to "cleaning instruments".
Ohhhh... I am surprise!!! What do I have to do?? to get a "real Clearwing-Greta" ???!!! I get everything but My Butterfly!! And now I even got a six legged Butterfly?! Thank you so much for the ID bayucca. I will keep on trying!!
I almost forget this one I promised to try to get closer...
Take a look at the legs and count... 6 legs, so it is not a real clearwing but a Pieridae!
By the way I have 2 more Clearwing Butterflies but I will place spotting when you are around.
Any Butterfly lovers here in PN to help me ID this beauty?
