Litoprosopus confligens
Noctuid moth about 3 cm long, pale brown with little eye spots on the underwings and long tail fringe. He was vibrating his wings (hard to get a good picture) because of the cold (9º C).
Attracted to the parking lot lights of a shopping mall on the outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters.
Another variant of this species was also spotted in January of 2013: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/172...

Thank you J for helping us out with the two moths.
Daniela, I sent a link to Mundo Butterfly Argentina so they can see the specimen from Mexico. Thank you again.
Lauren, I have a Spotting of a moth very alike (in my eyes) to this one. Could you take a look?, because I'm not sure about it.
