Noctuid Moth

Litoprosopus confligens

Description:

Noctuid moth about 3 cm long, pale brown with little eye spots on the underwings and long tail fringe. He was vibrating his wings (hard to get a good picture) because of the cold (9º C).

Habitat:

Attracted to the parking lot lights of a shopping mall on the outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters.

Notes:

Lauren, I have a Spotting of a moth very alike (in my eyes) to this one. Could you take a look?, because I'm not sure about it.
