Four-Spotted Cup Moth

Doratifera quadriguttata

Description:

They're back!! These cupmoth slugs appear late in summer. A eucalyptus tree had numerous advanced cupmoth slugs.

Habitat:

A tree in a local park. There were two species found on two different trees. These are less common and sometimes seen together.

Notes:

I collected some last year and instead of moths emerging, I got flies... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/134...
