Eublemma anachoresis
Small beige and pink moth. Body length is about 8mm.
Urban garden.
Agnes, I think this looks like Eublemma anachoresis more than E. dimidialis. E. anachoresis is also found in Australia, according to BOLDsystems, where organisms are genetically barcoded, making for accurate species IDs. While poor lab procedures can result in an incorrect ID, I don't think that has occurred here. If you look at E. anachoresis, you can see that the brown blends into the pink and starts at the bottom edge of the forewing, as in this species. E. dimidialis has pink surrounding the brown, making the brown in a crescent shape. I do not think it is E. dimidialis.

However, I could see E. accedens as being another possibility for the ID.
