Graptemys pseudogeographica
A raised row of spines on the middle of the carapace makes map turtles IDable from a good distance away. This guy has faint yellow lines all over the head, with a spot behind the eye. A small river cooter (Pseudemys concinna) is basking on top of the map turtle.
Basking in a pool within a creek. Surrounded by oak forest.
