Toothed Phigalia Moth male

Phigalia denticulata

Description:

Winter in Virginia has been weird for me. I'm not used to seeing any arthropods in the winter. This one is sitting on snow! Gray moth with black wavy lines. Females do not have fully formed wings and can't fly.

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to a flood light at night.
