Description:

Adults are black with yellow bands across the abdomen, and transparent windows in the wings. It is a wasp mimic.

Habitat:

it is found from the Indo Australian Tropics to northern Australia. Spotted at Taman Dusur Bandar park near KL

Notes:

The larvae feed on Oryza sativa. In this park I saw hundreds of this always spectacular moth
