Bicolored Sallow Moth

Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Noctuinae, Tribe: Xylenini, TL 18-20 mm. WS 28-38 mm.. A common sallow moth (very worn markings) light beige, pale orange. The PW has wavy lines bordered with purplish bands normally. Scalloped PM line is accented with faint black dots along veins. Feeds on plants. Hosts: Deciduous trees and low plants.

Habitat:

Found at the edge of the lawn and sidewalk sucking on plant juices.(Night)
