Cupreous Bollworm

Earias cupreoviridis

Description:

Small erebid moth, vibrant colors of mostly yellow-green, the margins are pinkish yellow and the bottom of the wings are brown emulating that of a dried leaf. It pretty much looks exactly like a tiny leaf, I'm quite surprised I still managed to spot it in the middle of a field at the dead of night, but I guess it's camouflage won't work if it looked so alive on a dead grass.

Habitat:

Found in a wild, grassy field/habitat at night.

Notes:

Cupreous Bollworm is the name of its larvae but I like the name!
