Rainbow Lorikeet

Trichoglossus haematodus

Description:

Rainbow birds!

Habitat:

Usually seen screeching and racing around Sydney from the roofs and flagpoles and tress, this one was calmly feeing on the flower of this tree. I need to look up the name of this tree as it is everywhere in Sydney and the birds love it.

Thanks Hema. It does look like a Grevillea sp and I will keep trying to find which one. I have many other photos of these trees and will include a spotting on them when I find them!:)
