Similar to a Laufeia Jumping Spider, one of the lesser known arboreal jumping spiders. No Laufeia species were ever recorded in Borneo but several were found in West Malaysia, Java and Sumatra. This species has several parts resembling that of the common Laufeia spider species back in Tawau. This individual is about 8mm.
Live on tree trunks and take shelter inside the spaces beneath the tree bark of Dipterocarp trees around this Maliau Skybridge.
There is a high chance of this species being undiscovered and unstudied. >>>Map accuracy : 5km diameter.
