Pseudomasaris sp.

Description:

Abandoned mud nest of a solitary pollen wasp, probably Pseudomasaris vespoides. Reminds me of the cylinder of a revolver, and about the same size.

Habitat:

Arid regions of the American west. This specimen was found at Catalina State Park in Oro Valley, Arizona.

Notes:
