Reccuring duck for many years to the same location out of range. Similar to Scaups. Black head, breast, wings, back and tail. Bright white flanks and belly. Golden eyes and blue-grey bill with dark nail. Long feathers on back of head that gives this duck his name. This bird has been found with Greater and Lesser Scaup.
