9mm female is a consistant sandy colouration.
This specimen was hunting on the fibro sheet wall of a garage near a large Bromeliad garden. It was late afternoon and the sun had not been shining on the wall for an hour or so
Somebody will fault me for not giving the fly an ID but I have no idea where to begin without some guidance so I may come back to it rather than leaving the sighting in my hard drive
