Size: maybe 4cm tip to tip wing; light mottled brown moth,, antennae thin and feathery not noticeable, dark brown stripe straight across the middle of the wings, rounded scalloped lighter brown margin, white dots randomly across the below the line

Habitat:

urban schoolyard

Notes:

looked like leaf on the ground just happened to stir it up when walked across the grass,
