25mm black and off-white abdomen, red antenna, dark red thorax, black head and legs

Habitat:

On a small 'Tilandsia" succulent plant in a suburban garden eating the moth in the last image. Coastal remnant woodlands, Sub-tropical rainforest, swamp, beaches, dunes and farms
