Description:

Displays the top of his head black and white a broad band above the eyes, which encircles the head. Below this, another wide band of black, connects the base of the beak to the nape. When excited, open plumes of black hat band and show a strong yellow or orange, usually hidden. From the neck to the tail, the dorsal region is brownish. In the ventral region, this species has a white throat and chest and belly yellow-strong. The legs are black, like the beak, which is long and wide.

Woods, grasslands, forests, cities

It is possibly the most popular bird of Brazil.
