White-tailed Deer

Odocoileus virginianus

Description:

White-tailed, younger bucks (males)

Habitat:

Native prairie grasses with woodlands and farm fields nearby

Notes:

Younger White-tailed Deer, in this case bucks (males) I've been following and photographing for over three years now. Images #1 and #2 show OH (One-Horn) and Dennis (Dennis the Menace) play fighting or sparing. Both are of similar age and size although OH is missing one side of his antlers. Image #3-Dennis (aka Dennis the Menace). Image #4-Tiny (aka Tiny G. who reminds me of a large buck dubbed Gramps). Image #5-OH aka One Horn for obvious reasons this year and Image #6-Dennis aka Dennis the Menace in one of his calmer moments.
