Description:

Salticidae; Plexippinae; Telamonia masinloc Barrion & Litsinger, 1995. The spider shown here is a female and it was spotted at around 5:30 p.m. (just about one hour before dusk, at this time of year. It was preparing its night shelter when I took the photo. So, I decided not to disturb it and settled for just one picture.

Habitat:

This Jumper was spotted, in the farm, on a leaf of Tropical Whiteweed (Ageratum conyzoides Linn.) known in the Philippines by various names in many dialects. In our local dialect, this plant is called Salunay. Plant information - http://stuartxchange.com/Bulak.html....
