Wow! This snake appears to be ill and my be suffering from a bacterial/fungal infection. It is always important to document such spottings, even when they are not pretty. Thanks for sharing!

I am very intrigued by the southern coastal states. So much biodiversity! I'm hoping to make it to the National Geographic BioBlitz in May, it is in Louisiana!

I've seen 2 snakes this month already! Ribbon Snake & Cottonmouth! Kind of unusual huh? :)
