Saw this Hummingbird with her nest on a banana tree. The leaf was hanging just along the trail at just around 1.5 meters. There were 2 Eggs in the nest.

Yes, I would expect at least 2 eggs in a nest.
I think it is one of the hermit hummingbirds, not familiar enough with them to tell you which one though!
