Caterpillar

Description:

Around 10 - 11 cm long and 2 - 3 cm thick. Bright green in color. Covered with spiny elevations on its body. The mouth is bulbous with a horizontal slit. The legs are triangular. White spiral lines run across the length of its body.

Habitat:

Found on forest floor during monsoon.

Notes:

Sluggish animal.

@ornithoptera80 The species does look like that. But the pre-pupating caterpillar of Macroglossum stellatarum is brown and not green (google search).
