Elhamma australasiae
26mm long body, furry smooth plain pinkish-brown, some feint spots and ribbed wings, female.
Under very strong lights at night near national park
In Elhamma australasiae the females are about 30% bigger than the males and are more likely to be plain. Link to male found elsewhere on the same night... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/175... Wingspan should be about 50mm. http://tolweb.org/Elhamma/11825

Thanks Lori, Hemma, Shanna. I know it's a bit too cute.
Love the first pic!! : )
very cute!
Lovely.
Thanks martin - I'm going with female E. australasiae
...but you might be right... ?! .. thanks for the thought.. I'll keep working on this one
Thanks Martin. I'm pretty sure these were too big for Elhamma which in our experience never gets much beyond about 18mm. We actually have some of this seasons Elhammas to post at the moment. Also male E. usually has some sign of a 'wave' pattern on the wings.
Nice. I'm not sure but check this one;
