Plexippus petersi
Also known as the tropical flycatcher or small zebra jumper. This specimen is a male and males are typically smaller than females. They also have distinct black, symmetrical patterns on their back, meanwhile, females don't and are more brownish.
Found inside my bedroom. It's native to Southeastern Asia. Its range includes Africa, China, Japan, Indonesia, New Guinea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Australia. It has been introduced to Africa and the Pacific islands.
