Hairy Jumper

Description:

A young female jumping spider with a common house fly in it's mouth. This is the largest species of jumping spider in this neighborhood. They are hairy and heavy. The females are also much more common than the males. Possibly a Hyllus lacertosus.

Habitat:

Live around my backyard and the neighbours' backyards in Taman Semarak, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 200m diameter. See my other spotting of this species (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/127...) This species is almost similar in appearance with the Indian Hyllus semicupreus but that species is not recorded here in Borneo.
