Threskiornis molucca
The Australian white ibis has a long, curved beak. The head and neck is featherless and black. The body is white with black tips on the flight feathers and black lacy wing feathers visible over the rump. Bare patches exist under the wings. Legs are reddish brown to black.
Usually near the coast but successful in most waterways. Adaptable to many urban environments.
