White-striped Black Moth

Trichodezia albovittata

Description:

Shiny dark brown moth with a white stripe on each side. Very small (see photo 2 for size). I saw a few of these around the yard

Habitat:

Overgrown, suburban yard next to dried-up swamp

Notes:

I did a little searching and was surprised to find out this was a moth, not a butterfly.
