Jumping Spider

Phidippus sp.

Description:

Sub adult Phidippus species. Black thorax and underside of abdomen, as well as femora of legs. Orange-yellow legs, reddish hair with white markings on dorsal abdomen. Yellow palps. Possibly P. clarus or P. whitmani.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
