Triangular-marked Banksia Longicorn

Uracanthus triangularis

Description:

Elongated longhorn of about 3cm. Pale brown colour with two red lateral patches on first half of the elytra, and two dark patches at the tips. Females are said to be more stout and larger, with shorter antennae, so I think this is a male.

Habitat:

Found among scrub in the Grampians National Park.
