Black-Headed Pitta

Erythropitta ussheri

Description:

While its whistle call is unmistakable, pittas are not easy to find and photograph. You need to walk inside the forest and be very still while just faking its call to lure the bird nearby. Very shy birds and a luxury to watch.

Habitat:

Tabin, Sabah.
