Red Silver Dewdrop Spider

argyrodes flavescens

Description:

This spider had black/dark brown, long legs. As an arachnid, this spider had two body parts, the thorax and head, and had eight legs. The whole spider(without the legs) was orange/reddish in color with a few whitish spots. At the longest point, this spider was about 5 mm long. This indicates that this spider that we caught was a female. At the widest point, the spider was about the same width as the length, about 5 mm or a little bit less.

Habitat:

I found this spider in a secondary rainforest in Singapore.
