Common Eucalyptus Longicorn Beetle

Description:

This longicorn beetle is about 25mm long with dark pitted elytra with pale patches. Antennae have a small spike at the upper end of every segment.

Habitat:

Larvae bore into eucalyptus tree trunks. A major pest all over the world where eucalytpus trees are grown.
