Spotting

Description:

1 to 1.5cm Black moth tightly rolled wings. Wings have flared tips at the top and tufts above the thorax Antenna are drawn back along the abdomen and over the wings at rest

Habitat:

Nocturnal by a light in garden by swamp and woodlands in suburban coastal sprawl

Notes:

The second image has the shadow cut out to allow the shape of the tuft on the back to be seen. The third image has been lightly Photoshopped to enhance the lighting and show the markings, No other changes are made. This moth is black Possibly a member of TINEIDAE or Clothes moths.
