heliconia psittacorum
This flower's leafs are in a shape of a lobster claw and are orange-yellow in color. The leafs are very long and are about 10 cm-12cm long and about 4 cm wide. The petals are about 5 cm long and 2 cm wide. There seemed to be no blooming fruits.
This flower was spotted at 10:43 am and was on a sunny side near a secondary rain forest in Singapore. There were no nearby plants.
There were lots of red ants crawling around the plant and seemed to be living inside the flower.
