Bivalves

Description:

In a small area on a large beach north of Tuxpan, Veracruz, a large number of bivalves that look a little like Rock Oysters washed ashore in the late afternoon. Many had pieces of shell attached, as well as 2 or 3 kinds of seaweed. No idea why this happened.
