This cacao tree was found in the SAS secondary rainforest. The pod was about 12 cm tall and 7 cm wide. The leaf shape is ovate an has a subopposite leaf arrangement. The leaf venation is netted pinnate an the margins are entire.
This cacao tree was found in a shady are in the SAS secondary rainforest. It was close to a few other trees and next to a rocky pathway.
