Description:

Long, green caterpillar with hints of yellow. Some vague, pale, lateral striping. Sparse, short hairs. Black subdorsal patches. Small, black, pimple-like bumps called "microspines" cause the caterpillar to feel rough. Caterpillar is extremely variable in color but all colors retain certain features that can help ID them.

Habitat:

Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Cultivated area (flower garden). Unknown food plant.
