Emerald Moth

Description:

Emerald Geometrid moth with brown bands around the wing edges and brown spots on the abdomen, 1 cm long. It has a parasitic mite attached to its abdomen. There is a small Chironomid Midge near the upper left wing.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
